Our Approach

We don’t just dive in!  Experience over the decades has taught us that the way the programme/portfolio is designed and initiated is absolutely key.  We ensure that we understand the key goals of the change, the parameters it’s working to, the people involved, and most importantly, the organisation’s culture. That’s where our obsession with sensitivity comes in: not every approach works everywhere; equally, not every consultant is ideal for every situation.  We pay particular attention to this and it’s a key reason for our enviable track record of success.

 

We are particularly proud of the pro-active approach we take to risk and issue management: we know well that those who do this well, succeed more than others. We work hard on aligning stakeholders and understanding what’s important to all those involved or affected.  We pay attention to detail, and report progress simply and clearly.

Assessing Readiness

Our assessment and readiness service will examine the health of your project organisation or a single project to predetermine the likelihood of success in meeting your goals. Our Capability Assessment will take a look at your team and governance structure to determine the strength of core internal skillsets and the maturity of key partner relationships. The Humewood Change Impact Assessment is a tool used at the start of any initiative to assess the user appetite to change and their likeliness to adopt new ideas. 

 

Our Mobilisation Approach Assessment will examine all aspects required to initiate a programme or project including the budgeting, forecasting, resourcing, vendor engagement, change planning, project plan communication and most importantly the expectations and objectives. The Humewood Success Factors Assessment will assess the decision making process, barriers to change, risks and issues.
